Ronald Neame's all-star disaster film, METEOR, follows a joint American and Russian task force is called upon to save the planet from a 5 mile wide chunk of space rock on a collision course with Earth.

In this disaster film, Americans and Soviets must put aside their differences to save civilization from a meteor 5 miles wide which is on a collision course with the planet. Paul Bradley (Sean Connery) enlists the expertise of fellow scientist Alexei Dubov (Brian Keith), who is joined by his beautiful assistant, Tatiana Donskaya (Natalie Wood). Amidst the impending catastrophe, NASA head Harry Sherwood (Karl Malden) must quell the rising tension between the Soviets and the operation's commander, General Adlon (Martin Landau).
